2. Trial Duration
The standard IN AEC CCTV trial duration is 15 days.
The 15-day duration is server-controlled.
The client clock must not create or extend the trial entitlement.
3. Trial Start Rule
The trial starts only at the first successful server-authorized trial activation.
The following actions do NOT start the trial by themselves:
- downloading the installer;
- installing IN AEC CCTV;
- opening Autodesk Revit;
- loading the IN AEC CCTV ribbon;
- opening local Help.
This rule is intended to be enforced by the IN AEC Licensing Platform once the automated Supabase trial flow is deployed.
Until that production flow is deployed and verified, IN AEC Tools must not falsely claim that trial issuance is fully automatic.
4. Trial Machine Limit
The standard free trial machine limit is one device.
The licensing service may use a derived device fingerprint to identify the authorized device.
Reinstalling the software does not automatically create another trial entitlement.
Changing local files does not automatically reset the server trial.
5. No Payment Card Required for Standard Trial
The standard approved trial policy does not require a payment card to begin the 15-day trial.
The trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
The trial does not automatically charge the user when it ends.
6. Trial Eligibility and Repeated Claims
The licensing platform may use limited server-side information such as:
- device fingerprint;
- product identity;
- trial claim history;
- email identity where implemented;
to determine whether a trial has already been claimed.
The exact duplicate-trial policy for legitimate device replacement or Windows identity changes remains subject to the final production support policy.
7. Trial Features
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, the standard trial is intended to provide access sufficient to evaluate the normal IN AEC CCTV product experience.
If future versions introduce trial-specific feature, export, project-size, or usage restrictions, those restrictions must be disclosed before the trial begins.
8. Trial Expiration
When the trial expires:
- protected IN AEC CCTV functionality may become unavailable;
- a valid paid entitlement is required for continued protected use;
- existing Revit project files are not deleted;
- existing customer model data is not automatically removed;
- previously created Revit elements/results are not automatically deleted merely because the license expires.
License expiry controls access to protected software functionality only.
9. Paid Subscription
Continued use after the trial requires an active paid subscription or another valid paid license issued by IN AEC Tools.
Paid subscriptions are purchased externally through IN AEC Tools.
Autodesk Marketplace is not the payment processor under the current commercial model.
10. Paid License Duration
Paid-license duration is controlled by explicit server-side start and expiration times.
A human-readable license or plan name such as:
- Monthly
- 1 Month
is descriptive only and is not the authoritative expiry source.
11. Monthly Plans
The initial commercial offering may include monthly plans.
A monthly plan may define:
- duration;
- price;
- currency;
- machine/device limit;
- included product entitlement;
- renewal conditions;
- support terms.
The exact current commercial details on the official IN AEC Tools purchase route take precedence over examples or historical quotations.
12. Device Limits
Paid licenses may authorize one or more devices depending on the purchased plan.
The machine limit is server-controlled and may be configurable per license.
Attempting to activate more devices than the authorized limit may be denied.
13. Node-Locked Licensing
IN AEC CCTV uses node-locked licensing in V1.
A valid protected-use decision requires:
- an active license;
- a valid product entitlement;
- a valid authorized device binding.
If any of those requirements cannot be safely proven, protected access is denied.
14. Machine Binding
A license may be bound to an authorized device using a derived device fingerprint.
The raw Windows MachineGuid is not intended to be stored as plain server-side licensing data.
A license must not be assumed to be transferable to unlimited computers.
15. Internet Requirement
Internet access is required for initial activation and periodic licensing validation.
The planned Supabase licensing platform uses short-lived signed authorization leases.
The initial conservative lease target is approximately 15 minutes.
After authorization expires, remote validation may be required.
No multi-day offline entitlement is part of the initial production policy.
16. Fail-Closed Behavior
If the licensing system cannot safely prove authorization because of:
- expired entitlement;
- suspended/revoked license;
- invalid device binding;
- machine-limit violation;
- malformed authorization data;
- unavailable or unverifiable entitlement state;
protected functionality may be denied.
17. No Automatic Trial Renewal
The standard 15-day trial:
- does not automatically restart after reinstall;
- does not automatically restart on another Windows user account;
- does not automatically renew;
- does not automatically become paid;
- does not automatically charge the user.
18. Paid Subscription Renewal
Paid subscriptions are renewed through the external IN AEC Tools commercial route.
Autodesk Marketplace payment or renewal processing is not used under the current policy.
Unless IN AEC Tools explicitly introduces and discloses automatic renewal for a future external payment method, users should not assume that a paid subscription renews automatically.
19. Expired Paid Subscription
When a paid entitlement expires:
- protected IN AEC CCTV functionality may be denied;
- the user may be directed to renew or obtain a valid license;
- existing Revit project files remain the user's files;
- licensing expiry does not intentionally delete or modify customer project data.
20. Suspension and Revocation
A paid or trial license may be suspended or revoked where reasonably necessary, including for:
- unauthorized credential sharing;
- fraud or abuse;
- security reasons;
- violation of applicable license terms;
- payment failure where applicable to the external sales channel.
21. Cancellation
The current commercial route is external to Autodesk Marketplace.
Cancellation requests are handled through the official IN AEC Tools sales/support route.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewal but does not by itself establish a refund entitlement for already purchased time.
22. Refunds
Final refund terms must be shown on the official external purchase page and are subject to applicable law and any applicable external payment-provider rules.
No refund entitlement should be inferred from this document beyond those published terms and applicable law.
23. Device Transfer
Until a self-service transfer function is formally introduced, legitimate device-transfer requests are handled through IN AEC Tools support.
A transfer request may require:
- license identification;
- proof of purchase;
- verification of the current device state;
- deactivation of the previous device.
Whether customer self-deactivation is part of V1 remains a product-policy decision until formally implemented.
24. Licensing Platform Migration
IN AEC CCTV currently uses, or may continue to use during migration, Keygen Cloud for existing licensing.
IN AEC Tools is developing a new multi-product licensing platform using Supabase.
Keygen remains available until the controlled migration is formally closed.
Migration to the new platform does not by itself cancel a valid paid customer entitlement.
25. Purchase and Renewal Route
Current plan, pricing, purchase, and renewal information must be obtained through the official external IN AEC Tools purchase route.

26. Autodesk Marketplace
If IN AEC CCTV is distributed through Autodesk Marketplace:
- Autodesk Marketplace is used for product discovery and/or trial distribution under the current policy;
- paid subscriptions are purchased externally through IN AEC Tools;
- Autodesk Marketplace payment processing is not used for the current commercial route;
- the listing should clearly disclose the 15-day trial and paid continuation requirement;
- the external purchase/renewal route should be clearly disclosed.
27. Privacy
Use of the licensing system is subject to the IN AEC CCTV Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy describes:
- licensing information;
- device fingerprint processing;
- activation/validation data;
- local DPAPI storage;
- Keygen migration;
- the Supabase licensing platform;
- data retention;
- security;
- privacy requests.

29. Important Commercial Disclosure
IN AEC CCTV is not a permanently free product.
The approved commercial policy is:
15-day free trial
then
an active paid subscription is required for continued use of protected functionality.
Paid subscriptions are sold externally through IN AEC Tools.
30. Implementation Truthfulness
Commercial policy and deployed behavior must match.
IN AEC Tools must not claim that:
- automated trial issuance is live;
- Supabase licensing is production-active;
- self-service transfer exists;
- automatic renewal exists;
- a specific payment provider is in use;
unless that functionality has actually been deployed and verified.
31. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated when:
- the Supabase licensing platform enters production;
- Keygen migration closes;
- new subscription plans are introduced;
- payment channels change;
- transfer/cancellation/refund processes are finalized;
- Autodesk Marketplace requirements change.
